Goal: $100,000

Dirty Dash is Team Hally’s annual fundraiser to help achieve our goal of magnifying the Lord in all that we do. Our mission is to provide Bibles to anyone who wants to read God’s word locally, nationally, and globally. Through the generosity of donations like yours, Team Hally has distributed more than 24,000 Bibles worldwide.

Your charitable contribution helps provide so much more than Bibles however, it provides hope to people when they need it most. Please help us continue to this mission by making a donation today!

But the word of the Lord remains forever.

TEAM HALLY

For the Yust Family, the weekend of July 4th started out with fireworks and a trip to the lake with grandparents and cousins.

Monday morning July 7th, Hally woke up sick. By Tuesday morning, Hally’s bewildered parents rushed her to the emergency room and by that night Hally Nicole Yust was brain dead. Everyone, including the doctors, couldn’t understand what had gone so terribly wrong so quickly. The next day an infectious disease doctor discovered that Hally’s brain had been attacked by an amoeba found in lakes and ponds all over the US. The amoeba causes an infection called PAM which is 98% fatal.

No one will ever understand or know why Hally Yust was taken from earth at such a young age, but all who love her have one prayer: that her story may lead others to trust in Jesus Christ, as Savior.

Dirty Dash is Team Hally’s annual fundraiser to help achieve our goal of magnifying the Lord in all that we do. Our mission is to provide Bibles to anyone who wants to read God’s word locally, nationally, and globally. Through the generosity of donations like yours, Team Hally has distributed more than 25,000 Bibles worldwide. Your charitable contribution helps provide so much more than Bibles however, it provides hope to people when they need it most.

FAQs

  • Carpool and arrive early! You’ll want to avoid the race day rush.
  • Join us before and after the race for free food and drinks.
  • We will provide bottled water to make sure you stay hydrated on race day.
  • Bring sunblock, bug spray, a towel, and a change of clothes.
What is included in my registration?

Adult registration includes a t-shirt, food, and drinks. Child registration includes a t-shirt, food, drinks, Dirty Dash medal, and swag bag.

How do I get my t-shirt?

T-shirts will be handed out at the welcome booth on event day. All attendees must be present to receive their shirt.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds. Make sure you are good to go before signing up. If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, you can cheer on all the Dirty Dashers on Facebook and Instagram.

What happens if there’s bad weather?

A little rain won’t stop us from getting down and dirty. It even makes the mud slide more fun! If there are major weather warnings during the weekend of the event, check back here for details, and stay tuned for emails with updates.

Can children participate in the adult race?

If your child can cover the 2.5 miles of the Dirty Dash course (while running, jogging, walking, or strolling), they can absolutely participate in the adult race!

Otherwise, the Little Dasher race for kids ages 5 to 12 is a 1 mile course. Parents are welcome to join their kids on this race and kids are welcome to join their parents in the adult race. Please note, we are not responsible for unattended children. Make sure you have a plan in place for childcare before the event day.

Where do I park?

To allow time for check in on event day, please arrive no later than 1 hour before your start time, and plan on waiting in line to check in. Parking is available on either side of the drive leading up to the event.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring strollers or wagons to the Dirty Dash. Just keep in mind they might get muddy and/or colorful.

Is the Dirty Dash safe?

The health and safety of our participants is always our top priority. We thoroughly test each obstacle for safety.

Is it safe to bring cameras and phones on the course?

To be totally safe, we do not recommend bringing cameras/phones onto the course. The Dirty Dash is not liable for any damage that might be done to your phone or camera!

Do you have a cleaning station after the race?

We have men’s and women’s tents available for changing clothes after the race. The fire department will also be here to hose everyone off. With a good spray of water, you won’t be 100% clean, but you’ll be good for the drive home. Don’t forget to bring a towel!

Do I have to be an experienced runner to participate?

Nope. The Dirty Dash is a non-competitive and untimed race filled with mud and color that you can experience with friends and family. You’re free to run, jog, walk, or cartwheel along the course!

Can I run with my pet?

For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals at the race.

Is the Dirty Dash timed?

The Dirty Dash is an untimed event. For anyone who wants a finish time, we suggest self-timing.
